Wales Millennium Centre

Opening in November 2004, Wales Millennium Centre, on Cardiff Bay waterfront, is the most exciting cultural initiative happening in Europe today. The venue will become home to the Welsh National Opera as well as hosting ballet, dance and musicals. The Millennium Centre will also house seven diverse and exciting cultural organisations under one roof.

Millennium Stadium

A modern icon of Cardiff, the Millennium stadium is host to world class sporting events. Visit the site and find out about coming events, book tickets, catch up on the latest news.

Tours of the stadium are also available, taking in the dressing rooms, the players tunnel, royal box and highest tier of the stadium.

Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans

Open in 1948, St Fagans is Wales' most popular heritage attraction. At this open air museum you can see how the people of Wales lived, worked and spent their leisure time over the last five hundred years. The Museum stands in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle and the surrounding 100-acre parkland hosts over thirty original buildings as well as large indoor galleries housing exhibitions of costume, daily life and farming implements. Open 10.00 am - 5.00 pm daily and admission is free for all.

The Brecon Beacons

Just 25 miles north of Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons national Park contains some of the most spectacular and distinctive upland formations in southern Britain. Enjoy 1347 sq km of hills and mountains forests, valleys, waterfalls, lakes, caves and gorges and endless opportunity for outdoor activities including guided walks.

The Cardiff Waterbus

Enjoy a unique view of Cardiff from the water, taking in the sites of Cardiff Bay. There are regular services between Penarth, Cardiff's waterfront and the City Centre. Visitors to the City can also take advantage of the Waterbus service operating on the river Taff to travel to and from the City by boat, or enjoy a birthday or hen party with a difference!
