Cardiff Airport Main Terminal

Cardiff Airport terminal building was built in the 1950's and has continued to expand and develop over the last fifty years.

Over 1.9 million people pass through the terminal each year flying to over 60 destinations.

The check-in desks and ticket desks are loacted in the check-in hall opposite the main terminal entrance on the ground floor.

The arrivals hall and baggage reclaim are also on this floor.

The departure lounge and the international pier are located on the first floor.

Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.

The airport information desk is located on the first floor in the pre-departure area.

Bureau de Change There is a Travelex located in the baggage reclaim hall.
Cash Points This is within the check-in hall near the main entrance.
Pay Phones There are several in the check-in hall.
Car Hire There are several desks in the arrivals hall.
Taxi Desk This is situated in the arrivals hall.
Lost Baggage/Property Contact the airline handling agent within the baggage reclaim hall.
Toilets These are located in the arrivals hall and the baggage reclaim hall; disabled and baby changing facilities are available.
Post Box This is outside the main entrance of terminal.

First floor

Bureau de Change There is a Travelex located in the pre-departures area and in the departure Lounge.
Information There is an airport information desk located in the pre-departures area.
Toilets These are located throughout with disabled and baby changing facilities available.
Pay Phones Available throughout.
Food and Drink There is a choice of bars, restauarants and takeaways.
Shopping Newsagents, luggage and tax and duty free shopping.
Fax & Photocopying Service available at the information desk.
Business Lounge The 51° Lounge is located in the departures area.
Game Zone Serendipity games is in the pre-departures area and the departure lounge.
Children's Play Area In the departure lounge next to the games zone.
Place of Worship Quiet room and chapel located in the corner of pre-departures.
