Cardiff Airport Terminal Building



Cardiff Airport terminal building was built in the 1950's and has continued to expand and develop over the last fifty years.

Over 1.9 million people pass through the terminal each year flying to over 60 destinations.

The check-in desks and ticket desks are loacted in the check-in hall opposite the main terminal entrance on the ground floor.

The arrivals hall and baggage reclaim are also on this floor.

The departure lounge and the international pier are located on the first floor.

  • International flights - check in 2 hours prior to departure
  • European flights - check in 2 hours prior to departure
  • Domestic flights - check in 1 hour prior to departure

Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.

The airport information desk is located on the first floor in the pre-departure area.
